This Saturday, Jaclyn's family was visiting and made a trip across the highway to Upland, IN, to see the men's basketball team play Taylor. It was their last regular season game, and was sure to be interesting since it was a rivalry game. The score was fairly close the whole time, but the men showed the Trojans who was boss... winning the game 65-63! This made them the MCC Champs!
The Taylor student fans were not very sportsmanlike, however, which dampened the trip just a little bit. They yelled at the refs after every call, they chanted during free throws, and they made fun of IWU school spirit (cheerleaders). Overall, they did not represent their school well, as far as I am concerned.
